چکیده

In this paper we investigate the structure and motion problem for calibrated one-dimensional projections of a twodimensional environment. In a previous paper the structure and motion problem for all cases with non-missing data was classified and solved. Our aim is here to classify all structure and motion problems, even those with missing data, and to solve them. The theory of one-dimensional cameras are useful in several areas, such as within robotics, autonomous guided vehicles, projection of lines in ordinary vision and vision of vehicles undergoing so called planar motion.

Classifying and Solving Minimal Structure and Motion Problems with Missing Data

An Adaptive Physics-Based Method for the Solution of One-Dimensional Wave Motion Problems

In this paper, an adaptive physics-based method is developed for solving wave motion problems in one dimension (i.e., wave propagation in strings, rods and beams). The solution of the problem includes two main parts. In the first part, after discretization of the domain, a physics-based method is developed considering the conservation of mass and the balance of momentum. In the second part, ada...

Global Optimization for One-Dimensional Structure and Motion Problems

We study geometric reconstruction problems in one-dimensional retina vision. In such problems, the scene is modeled as a 2D plane, and the camera sensor produces 1D images of the scene. Our main contribution is an efficient method for computing the global optimum to the structure and motion problem with respect to the L∞ norm of the reprojection errors. One-dimensional cameras have proven usefu...

Flow Shop Scheduling Problem with Missing Operations: Genetic Algorithm and Tabu Search

Flow shop scheduling problem with missing operations is studied in this paper. Missing operations assumption refers to the fact that at least one job does not visit one machine in the production process. A mixed-binary integer programming model has been presented for this problem to minimize the makespan. The genetic algorithm (GA) and tabu search (TS) are used to deal with the optimization...

Three-dimensional Free Vibration Analysis of a Transversely Isotropic Thermoelastic Diffusive Cylindrical Panel

The present paper is aimed to study an exact analysis of the free vibrations of a simply supported, homogeneous, transversely isotropic, cylindrical panel based on three-dimensional generalized theories of thermoelastic diffusion. After applying the displacement potential functions in the basic governing equations of generalized thermoelastic diffusion, it is noticed that a purely transverse mo...
